Planning Board Elects Labrie as Chair, Approves Taxiway Expansion

CHICOPEE — The Planning Board elected Cynthia Labrie as Chair in its annual reorganization, replacing Michael Sarnelli. Eric Oulette was elected Vice Chair, Andrew Desrochers Clerk, John Paquette Jr. Pioneer Valley Planning Commission Representative, and Thomas Reniewicz board representative to the ad hoc Zoning and Regulations Overhaul Committee.
All elections were unanimous. The board approved a definitive site plan for M.H.O.C., LLC's 44,000-square-foot addition to a transportation facility at 26 Taxiway Drive, granting six of eight requested waivers. Two applications—a zone change for 799 Front Street and a preliminary site plan for East Main Street—were tabled to May 7 pending Conservation Commission and applicant action.
