License Committee Approves Two Licenses, Tables Auto Repair Alteration

City Council - License Committee · Meeting of April 28, 2026

Chicopee License Committee approves two business licenses at April meeting. The committee approved a Junk Dealers License for JD's Clothing and Collectibles at 40 Center Street for owner Joe Famania to sell Pokémon cards and sports collectibles Monday through Saturday, contingent on Fire Department inspection. A Home Occupation License for Obscura Noir Photography Studio at 27 Hilton Street for photographer Daniel Lafond also was approved, requiring Fire and Building inspections.

The committee deferred an auto repair license alteration pending reinspection and a revised site plan. An application for a mushroom cultivation home occupation was withdrawn, and an EcoATM junk dealers license application was postponed to the next meeting.
