Chicopee License Committee approves monthly craft and food vendor market for Center Street. Allison Brown's Wicked Twist Food Truck won unanimous approval from Committee Chair Shane Brooks and members Susan Goff and George Balakier to host four-vendor markets on June 7, July 5, August 2, and September 6, showcasing local crafts and food. The committee unanimously approved the transient vendors license with conditions requiring vendor record-keeping and item approval oversight.
The committee separately continued deliberation on Best Car Best Deal's request to increase vehicle inventory from 24 to 32, deferring to July 23 after residents testified to persistent overcrowding and the Fire Department flagged emergency-access and safety concerns.
