Chicopee License Commission approves licenses and permits, defers package store application. The commission unanimously approved eight special one-day beer and wine permits for the Friends of the Chicopee Senior Citizens for events July through December at 5 West Main St, waiving fees and police requirements. The commission also approved license transfers for Atlas Pub and Milano's, plus a new common victualer license for Hot Head Burritos.
The commission continued the hearing on a package store license for S & V Mart, 659 Grattan St, citing concerns about proximity to a school and church and requesting the applicant redesign the store layout.
