Chicopee License Commission approves four special alcohol permits for upcoming seasonal events. Chairman Martin, along with Commissioners Hamblin, Croteau, and Londraville, voted unanimously to grant beer and wine permits to the Friends of the Chicopee Senior Citizens for a May 14 dinner at the River Mills Senior Center and to Moose Lodge 1849 for its car show series running May through October. An all-alcohol permit was approved for Mercedes Benz of Springfield's May 7 Sip and Shop event.
The commission also authorized pursuit of court action against Petro's at 351 Front St over unpaid licensing obligations.
