License Commission · Meeting of June 18, 2026

Chicopee License Commission approves state's 3AM closing pilot program for licensed establishments. The three-member board unanimously adopted the extended-hours pilot through July 31, 2026, allowing licensed establishments to stay open until 3:00 AM with service restrictions: all beverages served by 2:30 AM, drinks cleared by 2:45 AM, and patrons out by 3:00 AM. Chairman Martin will review each request individually.

The Rumbleseat's owner William Stetson testified in support, citing late-shift workers from area hospitals who seek food and drinks after midnight. The board also unanimously approved a liquor license transfer to Hian Inc., routine manager and officer changes at three establishments, and a common victualer license for Playa Bowls.
