Library Trustees approve improvements, confirm financial stability for year

CHICOPEE — Library Board confirms financial stability, approves silent auction at May meeting. The three-member Board unanimously approved the Director's Report and May 1 financial statement. Library Director Laura Bovee reported that her annual budget hearing with Mayor Vieau went well, positioning the library for strong finances in the coming year.
The board also unanimously approved a request from the Friends of the Chicopee Public Library to hold a silent auction of artwork and craftwork in the Community Room.
