Chicopee Conservation Commission tables two Notices of Intent, approves Housing Authority project. The five-member commission, led by Chair Celeste Donovan, unanimously tabled OSJ Chicopee's removal of a non-permitted artificial turf soccer field at Memorial Drive and Bridgetown's three-building commercial development on East Main Street, both to May 20. The Commission voted 5-0 to issue Negative 2, Negative 3, and Negative 5 Determinations with Special Conditions for the Chicopee Housing Authority's 9,650-square-foot sidewalk replacement and accessibility upgrade at Edward J.
Bury Apartments on East Main Street, including mandatory 12-inch straw wattle erosion control and daily removal of excess material from the 200-foot Riverfront Area.
