Conservation Commission closes two long-pending compliance cases

Chicopee Conservation Commission votes unanimously to resolve two long-pending compliance matters. Chairperson Celeste Donovan presided as all five members approved Certificates of Compliance, including one resolving a 2019 enforcement action against Bridgetown, LLC with a $10,295 settlement payment for an abandoned restoration plan at 0 East Main Street. The second certificate, approved 5-0, closed a 2006 Order of Conditions for a commercial retail building at 330 Montgomery Street requested by Joel Marchand.
The Commission tabled a Notice of Intent for artificial turf field removal at Memorial Drive, resuming discussion May 6.
