Conservation Commission approves two wetlands restoration orders.

CHICOPEE — Conservation Commission approves restoration of illegal soccer field and commercial development. The board unanimously greenlighted an Order of Conditions for OSJ Chicopee, LLC to remove a non-permitted artificial turf field from Memorial Drive and restore approximately 15,000 square feet of cleared Terrace Escarpment soils, with annual progress reports required for two growing seasons beginning Fall 2026. Separately, the Commission voted 4-0 to approve a Bridgetown, LLC three-building commercial project on East Main Street with wetland protection signage and subsurface stormwater management.
