Commission tables compliance decision on riverfront property

Chicopee Conservation Commission postpones wetland compliance decision on disputed property. The five-member Commission unanimously tabled a Certificate of Compliance request from Bridgetown, LLC for a property at 0 East Main Street that violated Riverfront Area protection rules in April 2019. According to the official minutes, no restoration work has been completed despite an Order of Conditions issued January 22, 2020.

The applicant cited ongoing issues with Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection regulators. The hearing resumes on March 18, 2026.
