Chicopee Conservation Commission approves permits for four projects

Conservation Commission · Meeting of January 7, 2026

Chicopee Conservation Commission approves permits, closures across four projects. At its January 7 public hearing, the Commission issued an Order of Conditions for a new single-family house by Frank Laflamme on Beaumont Ave. in the Connecticut River's Riverfront Area, with conditions prohibiting stormwater runoff onto city flood-control infrastructure. The Commission also issued a Positive 2A Determination confirming wetland and Terrace Escarpment Soil delineation on 340 Pendleton Ave. for applicant Thomas Bretta, valid for three years with no project proposed.

In compliance matters, the Commission closed Orders of Conditions for The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts and Eversource Energy's 1803 Line OPGW Project. All five votes passed unanimously.
