Board accepts seven Chicopee streets at last

Planning Board · Meeting of March 5, 2026

Chicopee Planning Board accepts seven streets, formally adopting roads in existence for years. The board voted unanimously to accept Anson Street, Litwin Lane, Old Lyman Road, Peloquin Avenue, Streiber Drive, Telegraph Avenue, and Trilby Avenue into the city's street system. The board also voted unanimously to endorse the as-built plan for Jean Circle, a 1999-approved subdivision, releasing associated city-held bonds and deposits.

A preliminary site plan for Bridgetown, LLC's three Business Service Buildings on East Main Street was tabled unanimously to April 2 to allow the applicant to address Conservation Commission concerns.
